Scanning, Copying, and Printing

Lehigh Libraries provides a variety of printing, scanning and photocopying services.

Self-Service Printing/Scanning

Self-service printers and scanners are available in both libraries.   At Linderman Library, there are printers in the 1st Floor Reading Room, 1st Floor Rotunda, and in room 302. Scanners are located on the Upper Ground Floor and in the 1st Floor Rotunda.   At Fairchild-Martindale Library, printers and scanners are located on the Ground Level (3rd) in CITL and on the Main Floor (4th) behind the Help Desk,  near the Express Computing workstations.

Microform Reader/Printer

There is a microform reader/printer on the Lower Ground Floor of Linderman Library and in the Staff Area of Fairchild-Martindale. To create a digital file of microformat, you may scan and save the pages as PDFs on a personal CD or USB device.

For assistance with the microform reader, please stop by the Circulation Desk at Linderman or EWFM or call 758-3030.

Full-Service Photocopy/Scanning

The Library also offers free scanned copy service for Lehigh University faculty, staff and students within fair use.  To request scanned copies of journal articles or reports that are available only in print or microform, please complete an ILLiad request.  Most materials can be scanned, saved in PDF and sent to you through the electronic delivery service via ILLiad.

If scanning is not feasible, the library will photocopy materials for a per page fee.  These copies can be picked up at the library or sent at to a campus address.

If material is available electronically (i.e. no scanning is necessary) but a paper copy is desired, a fee is assessed for a copy of that material.
