Services and Forms

  • This program, which will be piloted for the 2016 calendar year, allows faculty to suggest purchases for print books that are needed for long term use by the requestor and where standard interlibrary loan use is insufficient.

  • Stuck in your research? Can't find an article to support your thesis? Confused about which databases to use?  Not sure how to start?  Our librarians are subject specialists that can assist you. 

  • Log into ASA 2.0 My Account to view your checked out library materials, renew charges, request items checked out to another patron, and other services. Request a Loaner Laptop.

  • Interlibrary loan services (ILL) are available to faculty, staff and students. ILL is used to obtain library materials from other libraries or to request photocopies of Lehigh owned materials. Note: Our interlibrary loan agreements prohibit the use of ILL for course textbooks. ILL requests for textbooks will be declined.

  • Lehigh's media collection is housed on the first floor of the Fairchild-Martindale Library and circulated from the Circulation Desk.  The Video Request Form may be used to add to the collection or to reserve materials for class. 

  • Course materials to support the university's academic programs may be placed on reserve in the Libraries either through a Print Reserve Request or an Electronic Reserve Request

  • Lehigh University Libraries provide scanners as well as both self-service and full-service photocopying services.  The full-service photocopying services can be requested through Illiad.

  • You can Request Material from The Library Materials Center (LMC), a climate controlled storage facility for lesser-used, fragile and rare materials owned by Lehigh Libraries.

  • The Libraries invite faculty to play an active role in the development of the library collection by requesting books and journals required for their own and their students' research.

  • Any non-affiliated user with a serious research need is welcome in our libraries; please review this guide prior to visiting.  You are welcome to phone the Help Desk and to make an appointment with a Lehigh research librarian as well.
