Friends of the Lehigh University Libraries

The Friends of the Lehigh University Libraries are dedicated to the provision of high quality library services for the Lehigh community. Lehigh Friends' members appreciate and enjoy the cultural enrichment uniquely embodied in a comprehensive research library.

What are the benefits? Friends receive invitations to special events and exhibits. They get to know new people in the university and the community with an interest in libraries and learning. Through publications such as the Library and Technology Services newsletter and the LTS Connection, they stay abreast of new developments at the libraries.

The Friends also sponsor lectures, book reviews, workshops, receptions, and dinners, part of the many Events and Exhibitions at the Libraries. They have generated support for special acquisitions, furnishings, and equipment. The current Friends’ organization began in the 1970s, described in the History of the Friends. Today, it is led by a Board that includes community leaders, alumni, faculty and staff listed below. Become a Friend of the Lehigh Libraries today by Joining the Friends!
